| Abstract |
The Polar Ice Coring Office (PICO) at the University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF) has been tasked by the National Science Foundation (NSF) to provide logistics support to the Land, Atmosphere, and Ice Interactions Flux Study during the 1994 summer season. Some logistics activities have already been funded and coordinated individually. PICO was tasked to establish a camp at Happy Valley, contract and coordinate helicopter services, and provide all non-funded logistics activities in Barrow and Prudhoe Bay. This Facilities and Services Manual describes logistics support that PICO will provide during the 1994 LAII Flux Study. Updates to this manual will be made, and a new manual will be issued in 1995. |
